A short history of World Cup footballs

June 16, 2014 by Josh Harris

This is a cool feature in the New York Times about World Cup balls through the ages. The best is the Tango, but the classic is the Mexico 1970, black and white paneled Telstar.  I never knew this, but it was apparently designed in that way to look good on black and white TVs.
