There are probably two types of devs. Those who’ve worked with excellent Product Managers, and everyone else.

Trantipraust's post has been shared a lot today, and I think the conclusion is right: Product Management as a discipline is badly defined and frequently misunderstood. Many people see it as the glory role where they make the decisions and tell other people what to do, rather than being the invisible catalyst that brings out the best in the team.

In short, there are lots of bad product managers out there.
